HEA New Lecturer’s Forum 2009 Dissemination

...the e-learning session begins

A session being run by the project director at the HEA’s 2009 New Lecturer’s Forum provided an excellent opportunity to disseminate some of the results of the PSYCHE project, and to raise some issues with respect to copyright and IPR. Lecturers were encouraged to establish the position in their own institutions as regards copyright, to encourage clarity, and to be aware of copyright and IPR issues when creating their own resources. Furthermore, issues of interoperability and the creation of learning content were raised. Participants were directed to resources on open content and e-learning content creation.

Overall, it seemed very productive to be able to raise these issues with staff just beginning in their lecturing roles.
